Joshua Beckford, a 6-year-old nigeria, has broken a record by enrolling at Oxford University in the United Kingdom as its youngest-ever student.
The university accepted Joshua Beckford, who plans to study philosophy and history there.
Despite having autism, Joshua Peckford is a genius and one of the most brilliant minds in the world.
At the age of 10 months, Joshua’s father Knox Daniel noticed that his son is not like other boys after seeing how well-remembered and familiarized Joshua was with the letters on a computer keyboard simply by sitting next to him.
By the time he was two years old, Joshua was fluent in Japanese and could read with ease.
Joshua claimed that by the time he was four years old, he was able to play on his laptop and simulate the removal of body organs.
His father was astounded by his son’s impressive intellect but realized that his son’s mind was too developed for a conventional education.
He homeschooled him as a result, and later spoke with Oxford University about enrolling him in a philosophy course for gifted kids between the ages of eight and thirteen.
Joshua got accepted to study Philosophy and History at the esteemed University of Oxford in England when he was just 6 years old.
He was the university’s youngest student to be admitted, and he eventually earned honours in both classes while graduating.
I’ve been using my dad’s laptop, which has a body simulator where I would pull out organs, since I was four years old. I’m trying to protect the world.
“I want to change society and people’s perceptions so they treat the world with respect,” Joshua proclaimed.
Joshua excels in the humanities, sciences, math, and languages other than English.
He does gall bladder removal and appendectomy procedures and is well on his way to achieving his goal of becoming a neurosurgeon.
In an effort to save the planet. “I want to alter the globe and the way people think about taking care of the world,” he said to HowAfrica.
