“Maybe God wants me to be a Governor” – Cubana Chief Priest reacts to APC primary election loss

Nigerian socialite Cubana Chief Priest has reacted to his reported APC primary election loss for House of Representatives seat, stating that he would never give up despite the outcome.

Speaking during an interaction with streamer Peller, the celebrity barman said he remains unbothered by online criticism, insisting that many of the people trolling him on social media are not on his financial level.

“I’ll never give up even if I lose again. All these people wey dey troll me for IG and Twitter, I checked their page and none of them get G-Wagon.”

Cubana also revealed that several media platforms had reached out to him following the election result, but he chose to respond because he believes in connecting with young people.

He further hinted that he may still have bigger political ambitions in the future, suggesting that his current setback could be preparing him for something greater.

“How will I be sad at what poor men are saying? Everybody dey call me, TVC dey call me, Channels dey call me, but you’re the only one I replied because I’m for the youths. I have a plan B, maybe God wants me to be the Governor.”

His comments have sparked mixed reactions online, with some people praising his confidence while others criticized his remarks about poor people.
