Popular actress, Lilian Afegbai laments as she calls out Lagosians for selling Asoebi in dollars.

She took to her Instagram page to raise an alarm about the new marriage celebration exploitation means Lagosians have devised.

Lillian Afegbai narrated an encounter she had with a lady who invited her to her wedding.

According to her, when she saw the invite, she had seen that the wedding required attendees to buy Asoebi for 1200 dollars.

She remarked that was deeply shocked by this and wondered what was going on in Lagos.

The actress said in part …

“Naso wan lady invite me, I come check the invite see 1200, I come shock dey ask say say 1200 naira? Naso I come dey happy say things don dey change for Lagos. Na him I say make I just blink, na him I see dollar sign for the 1200. Na him i say hey, weting dey occur for here. I quickly carry my phone times 1200 x 1600. HOw many million naira be that. For Asoebi wey I go wear one time?”
