Klintoncod accuses Cubana Chief Priest of hiding true reason for avoiding U.S.

Nigerian comedian Klintoncod has openly questioned celebrity barman Cubana Chief Priest’s explanation for his absence at Davido’s recent wedding in Miami, suggesting the socialite has not been entirely truthful about the real reason he has not visited the United States.

Cubana Chief Priest had earlier addressed the matter, pleading with the US government to grant him a visa while expressing how hurt he was over missing the high-profile event.

He reassured fans that “delay is not denial” and that he still remained hopeful about travelling.

However, in a post on X (formerly Twitter), Klintoncod cast doubt on the claim, pointing out that Davido’s aide Israel DMW, who is not fluent in English, was able to make the trip. He questioned how a billionaire like Chief Priest could face such visa challenges while his wife and children reportedly have access to the US.

“You see that Chief Priest story of being denied a US visa, I also doubt that story sha, Israel wey no sabi speak English like that enter Miami, na Billionaire Chief Priest dem come deny visa but wife and kids get, baba know why him no wan touch US soil sha,” Klintoncod wrote.

A social media user attempted to defend Chief Priest, referencing a past interview where he claimed he had been denied a visa years ago when he was “still a nobody” and applied through an agent, and has not been granted access since.

Unmoved by the explanation, Klintoncod responded, “Dead talk still!!” reaffirming his disbelief in the barman’s version of events.
