“I’ve checked my mind out of marriage” – Regina Daniels

Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has revealed that she has emotionally checked out of the idea of marriage, despite still hoping to have a daughter someday.

Speaking during a livestream with TikTok personality Jarvis, the actress opened up about motherhood, family, and her current mindset toward relationships.

Regina disclosed that the last time she saw her children was last year, adding that she believes she will reunite with them again soon. She then admitted that for personal reasons, she no longer sees herself getting married again.

However, the actress noted that she still strongly desires to have a girl child, explaining that she believes motherhood is experienced differently when raising a daughter.

According to her, having a female child gives a deeper understanding of motherhood.

She said in part …

“The last time I saw my children was last year.

I know one day, I’ll see them again, very soon.

But for some reason I have checked my mind out of getting married but I’m yet to have a girl and I must have a girl child. I feel like you’d understand motherhood better when you have a girl child.”

It would be recalled that last year October, the actress had separated from her husband, Ned Nwoko following a messy clash.
