“I’m the newborn Fela, nobody comes close” – Portable declares

Controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has once again set social media abuzz with a bold declaration about his status in the Nigerian music industry.

In a viral video currently making the rounds online, the Zazoo Zeh crooner confidently compared himself to Afrobeat legend Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, insisting that no artiste is bigger than him.

While boasting about his influence and success, Portable dismissed claims of superiority from other musicians in the industry.

In his words, he said:

“I’m the newborn Fela. If you say you’re bigger than Fela, then I’m bigger than you. Nobody blow reach me.”

The statement comes amid ongoing online banter involving Seun Kuti, Wizkid, and members of Wizkid FC.

Portable’s comments have further fueled the debate, especially as the singer recently regained freedom after his release from prison.
