“I’m preparing to visit Bobrisky” — James Brown says

Crossdresser James Obialor, also known as James Brown, has announced plans to see his comrade Bobrisky, who has been released from prison.

On Monday, James Brown posted on Instagram with the caption,

“Morning routine cravings by Princess of Africowwww. Omo is not easy to be a lady.”

Mhiz Blizz, an Instagram user, alerted the crossdresser of Bobrisky’s release in the comments section, writing, “Ur senior colleague is back ooo.” He said, “I day prepare to go greet am.”

James Brown also took to his Instagram Story to greet Bobrisky, writing,

“Hi, darlings, good morning. Congrats to us and all the community of silvers.

“It is called silver, not… Your red queen, your dark queen, has come out. Yes. Some parts of heaven are rejoicing, while others are… Let’s pray they come back in peace. I know there are some people he wants to take revenge on, but yeah.”

On June 7, James Brown posted photos of his visit to Kirikiri Correctional Centre, claiming to have visited Bobrisky.

He captioned the image,

“I went to Kirekire prison to visit Bobrisky to know if she is alright.”

In 2022, the internet personality, who was once Bobrisky’s protégé, said that they were pals until he became a “drag queen”. Bobrisky felt “threatened” after posting photos of himself cross-dressing and dancing on Instagram, he claims.

The 25-year-old also claimed his senior colleague threatened his life “if I didn’t stop being James Brown.”

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) detained Bobrisky on March 24 for spraying naira notes at the premiere of Ajakaju: Beast of Two Worlds, produced by Eniola Ajao.

He was charged with four counts in Lagos State High Court.

On April 12, Justice Abimbola Awogboro sentenced Bobrisky, who calls himself mummy of Lagos, to six months in prison.

He was released on Monday from the Kirikiri Correctional Facility in Lagos.
