Popular Nigerian skit maker Shank Comics has sparked reactions online after openly sharing what truly motivates his hustle.

In a viral clip circulating on X (formerly Twitter), the content creator made it clear that his focus is not on family, kids, legacy, or long-term plans, but on achieving a particular lifestyle.

“Anything you do in this life, make sure you have made money to come and live in Ikoyi. I’m not even working hard for my parents or my future children. I’m working hard to come and live in Ikoyi. This is my future,” he said.

His blunt statement quickly gained attention, especially as Ikoyi is widely known as one of the most prestigious and expensive areas in Lagos.
