Nigerian music star Young Jonn has opened up about his relationship status, admitting that he is currently not ready to commit to one woman.

The “Dada” hitmaker revealed that he prefers maintaining platonic connections rather than pursuing a serious relationship at this stage of his life.

Speaking on the “Way Up” podcast hosted by Angela Yee, the 30-year-old explained that he doesn’t feel prepared to dedicate himself fully to one person.

“Love is beautiful, and everyone loves it. But right now, I’m not in the place where I can give so much of myself to one individual. So, I’m just keeping things platonic with everyone,” he said.

He added, “I don’t want to go into a serious relationship now because I know I won’t be able to give my partner the attention and commitment they deserve. I’d rather not put anyone through that.”

Young Jonn’s comments come after his rumored romance with Davido’s cousin, Adenike Adeleke, popularly known as Nikos Living, reportedly came to an end.

Speculations about their relationship began in early 2024 when Nikos shared photos and posts with the singer. However, the pair were said to have parted ways in August 2025, with noticeable signs such as unfollowing each other on social media and deleting pictures together.
