Human rights activist, Deji Adeyanju has publicly called out veteran singer, Charly Boy, making a series of allegations.

In a recent post on the microblogging platform X, (formerly Twitter) Deji Adeyanju described Charly Boy as shameless and lacking integrity.

In the tweet, Deji Adeyanju alleged that Charly Boy collected money during the late Muhammadu Buhari regime.

According to the human right activist, the incident unfolded while being locked up in Kano prison.

It would be recalled that on November 28, 2018, Deji Adeyanju was arrested with Daniel Abobama and Boma Williams for protesting.

They were charged them with criminal conspiracy, defamation, public nuisance, and inciting public disturbance by security operatives

Howrver, he was remanded in Keffi Prison and released on bail, December 6, 2018.

Additionally, he was re-arrested by police over a 2005 murder case he had already been discharged and acquitted of in 2009.
