“I used to fly business class” – Former philanthropist cries out after losing Dubai businesses, unable to pay rent

A former philanthropist has cried out for help after revealing that he lost his businesses in Dubai and is now struggling to pay his rent.

According to the man, he previously lived comfortably, owned businesses in Dubai and regularly travelled between Nigeria and the United Arab Emirates in business class.

However, he claimed his situation changed about three years ago after he was unable to return to Dubai, resulting in the closure of his businesses and loss of income.

Despite his financial struggles, he maintained that he continued helping people online whenever he could.

“It is only in Nigeria that people are happy about others’ downfall. I used to do very well for myself. I owned businesses in Dubai and flew business class in and out of the country until they said they don’t want Nigerians in their country about three years ago.

I couldn’t enter the country, there was no income, and my business was shut down. Despite that, I still come online to help people.”

The former philanthropist revealed that his financial situation had now deteriorated to the point where his landlord allegedly evicted him from his home over unpaid rent.

He also disclosed that he has put his car up for sale as he seeks to raise money and get back on his feet.

“Now my landlord has thrown me out of my house because I couldn’t pay rent,” he lamented.

His disclosure has sparked reactions online, with some social media users expressing sympathy and encouraging him to seek support as he navigates his current financial difficulties.
