Afrobeats superstar Davido has revealed how much he earned during a brief TikTok livestream, disclosing that he made over $1,200 after spending just 20 minutes on the platform.

Speaking during a conversation with comedian Carter Efe, Davido admitted he was surprised by the overwhelming response to the livestream, saying he had no idea so many people would tune in.

According to the singer, “I spent just 20 minutes on TikTok and I made over $1,200 today.”

The revelation comes shortly after Davido disclosed that he was shocked when more than 70,000 people joined his TikTok livestream, saying he never expected such a massive audience.

The singer has also been appearing frequently on livestreams with popular creator Carter Efe, as he continues promoting his newly released album, Ori Ade.
