Recall that Hilda Baci had one of the greatest cooking event the country has yet seen.

The Akwa-Ibom-born chef had cooked the biggest pot of Jollof rice, with teeming crowd of Nigerians who came out to watch her set a new record on Friday in Victoria Island, Lagos.

Guinness confirms her new record

The GWR finally recognised the feat on Monday, September 15th, recognizing her as the new Guinness World Record holder for the largest serving of Nigerian-style jollof rice, weighing 8,780 kilogrammes (19,356 lb 9 oz).

The chef uploaded a video showing the moment she spoke with the officials who confirmed her new record.

Hilda, her mom, team and friends were emotional with tears of gratitude at having achieved another world record.
