According to him, he and many supporters were ready to protest when they believed the election was being rigged but were shocked when Obi instead chose to pursue legal action.

“In 2023 when election was going on and we realized they wanted to rig it and won’t announce Peter Obi as winner, we sparked a protest.

From nowhere, Obi said he wants to go to court and that we shouldn’t continue any protest. I have never been that disappointed in my life,” he said.

He further stated that, in his opinion, Obi should have taken a more radical stance, insisting that many supporters were ready to stand firmly behind him at the time.

The activist argued that the decision to go to court weakened the Obedient movement, as many supporters felt let down by the approach.

“People were ready to fight for you, but you weren’t ready to fight for yourself. The movement crumbled because a lot of people were disappointed,” he added.

VeryDarkMan also addressed recent criticism over his refusal to join a protest linked to the African Democratic Congress, clarifying that his stance does not mean he supports President Tinubu or his administration.
