Nigerian gospel singer Pita paused his church ministration mid-song after spotting a man attempting to steal his phone.

While singing “I will call upon the Lord”, he suddenly shouted “Stop!”, alerting church leaders who apprehended the suspect.

The video has gone viral, with Nigerians humorously saying the singer was truly “watching and praying”, while others joked the thief needed the phone to “call upon the Lord.”
