While expressing reservations about some opposition figures, Fani-Kayode acknowledged former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, saying, “I have respect for the former vice president, Alhaji Abubakar Atiku. Fani-Kayode argued that Nigeria’s opposition parties have lost direction and effectiveness, blaming internal conflicts for their struggles.

Reflecting on past political dynamics, he added, “In the end, they defeated us in 2015. Can you compare the APC that was in opposition to the jokers that we have today? They call themselves opposition.”

He concluded with a sharp critique of opposition leaders’ conduct, saying, “Because all they do is sit in a bedroom, quibbling, fighting one another.
