At the 10th edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA), Chioma clinched the Best Actress title but was absent due to being in the United States. Despite being present at the event, Uche Jombo faced backlash online for not collecting the award on her friend’s behalf.

In the emotional clip, Chioma held the award with pride as she thanked the AMVCA organisers, her fans, God, and her late mother. She reflected on her journey, describing it as one filled with ups and downs but marked by resilience and passion for her craft.
