The Kwara State government filed suit no. KWS/33c/c/2021 against them, accusing them of 11 counts of armed robbery, illegal firearm possession, and r@pe.
The three defendants were found guilty of culpable murder punishable by death, conspiracy to conduct robbery, rape, and murder in Justice Ibrahim Adebayo Yusuf’s ruling.

The judge revealed that although the group intended to steal and rape without intending to kill, their actions resulted in homicide.
Each of the fourth and fifth defendants received a three-year prison term for the theft offense.

On the grounds that they had not been found guilty of any accusations made against them, the court had previously released and exonerated the sixth, seventh, and eighth suspects.
