Popular skit maker and singer Carter Efe has expressed gratitude to Afrobeats star Davido for his support, while also subtly criticizing Wizkid for what he described as a lack of acknowledgment.

Recall that last year, Davido had showed up at Carter Efe’s Twitch livestream, breaking record as the highest Twitch livestream in Africa.

Speaking during a recent livestream, Carter Efe recounted how Davido joined his live session and significantly boosted his visibility and career momentum.

He described Davido as a genuine supporter and a legend who is always willing to uplift others in the entertainment industry.

In contrast, Carter Efe lamented that Wizkid did not acknowledge him, despite the fact that he once released a song dedicated to the singer which went on to achieve major success.

He noted that while Wizkid did not respond to him, the singer found time to engage with Seun Kuti, a situation he found disappointing.

He came to my livestream and changed the game for me, but Wizkid couldn’t even say “hi” to me, even after I made a song for him that went number one, yet he had time to reply Seun Kuti. Wizkid no reply me wey drop number one song, ‘Machala’, na their him muzz me. Omo, Davido will live long.”
