Buhari’s granddaughter, Halima Junaid sets to tie the knot

The late former President Muhammadu Buhari’s granddaughter, Halima Amira Junaid, is preparing to marry Walid Shehu Mauzu in Kaduna State.

Halima is the daughter of Nana Hadiza, who married former Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami (SAN), a few years ago.

Hadiza, one of Buhari’s daughters from a previous marriage, is now the third wife of the ex-AGF. She was previously married to Captain Junaid Abdullahi, with whom she had six children.

The wedding fatiha between Halima and Walid is scheduled for August 30, 2025, alongside a series of pre-wedding events, including a bridal soiree, Kamu, and a grand dinner.

Notably, several members of the former first family were absent from the celebration.
