Boko Haram ambush ISWAP in Lake Chad

Boko Haram insurgents have attacked Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) fighters in the Lake Chad region.

The Boko Haram fighters were reported to have laid an ambush for ISWAP around Gabara/Galta hideouts close to Mandara Mountains in the Lake Chad axis.

According to EONS INTELLIGENCE, ISWAP commander, Abou Sadiquo Buorubouru was killed in the ambush.

It was also gathered that during the attack, Boko Haram destroyed four ISWAP gun trucks equipped with Russian Dushka and BMGS.
