Nigerian rapper Erigga has responded to singer Davido following their recent exchange over a post about artistes who made it in the music industry without family money.

In a series of posts shared on X (formerly Twitter), Erigga questioned why his shoutout to people who made it without family money would upset Davido.

“Na shoutout to the ones wey get it out the mud without family money dey make David crash out? From where to where?”
Erigga continued by sarcastically suggesting that people from wealthy backgrounds should motivate themselves rather than take offence at those celebrating their struggles and achievements.

He further mocked Davido over his privileged background, referring to him as the “Ambassador of RICH KIDS.”
“Big man pikin dey cry say poor men children dey hail dem self??? Motivate your self naw. Ambassador of RICH KIDS.”
