Popular Nigerian singer, Bella Shmurda has reacted to the appeal made by Lagos State University (LASU), to return to the institution and complete his degree programme.
Recall that the artiste had in a tweet ahead of his birthday revealed that he dropped out of the school because he failed some courses. The 25-yr-old also said that he does not regret leaving school for music.
In reaction to his post, LASU said it’s happy to have played a part in his story. The school, however, urged him to return to school.
”Happy birthday @fineboybella. Glad you have come this far pursuing your dream. Also glad @LASUOfficial played a part in your beautiful story because Univ. don’t make people rich, only incubate them to find and achieve purpose. BTW, please come back to class and earn your degree,” it tweeted.
Days after the tweet went viral, Bella has now given a reaction suggesting that people should focus on making money than schooling.
He tweeted; ”Now playing: 4 years in @LASUOfficial is really nothing
Better get tha money! The economy is starving!”
