Ayra Starr advocates for justice for FUNAAB student murdered by friend

Afrobeat star Ayra Starr has joined the call for justice following the tragic murder of a FUNAAB student by her friend, Adeleye Ayomide.

Idowu Christianah went missing on the 19th of August 2024 after her abductors used her WhatsApp account to contact her parents, sending photos of her in captivity and demanding a ₦1.5 million ransom.

It was later revealed that Adeleye Ayomide, an undergraduate from Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), had abducted and murdered Christianah, and then buried her on his property.

Additional reports suggest that Ayomide may have been involved in the deaths of his ex-girlfriend in 2018 and his sister in 2020 under similar circumstances.

On her X page, Ayra Starr has called for justice for Idowu Christianah, emphasizing that women deserve better.

She wrote:
