Nigerian singer Ahmed Ololade, popularly known as Asake, has finally reacted after Afrobeat musician Seun Kuti advised him to “be careful” of working with Wizkid.

The warning came amid a heated online feud between Seun Kuti and the Grammy-winning star.

Seun Kuti had publicly cautioned Asake to stay wary of  following an intense social media exchange.

The feud initially erupted when Seun criticized Wizkid FC, calling them “the most ignorant fan base” and suggesting that their parents had not matched the achievements of his father, the legendary Fela Kuti.

Wizkid responded, calling Seun a “fool at forty,” a “hungry b*stard,” and “a frog who lives in the mud.”

Asake Confirms Collaboration

Despite Seun Kuti’s caution, Asake proceeded with his collaboration with Wizkid. On January 23, 2026, he announced the release of their joint project, Real EP Vol. 1, via Instagram.
