“I want to sell aso ebi” — Peller says yearly weddings would be more profitable than anniversaries

Peller has sparked reactions online after joking that he would love to have a wedding ceremony every year because of the money generated from selling aso ebi to guests.

Speaking in a viral video, the content creator said he suggested the idea to his partner, Jarvis, but she quickly dismissed it, reminding him that only wedding anniversaries could be celebrated after marriage.

 

Peller said, “I told my baby make we dey do wedding every year, she said it’s not possible that it’s only anniversary we can do. do people buy aso ebi for anniversary? I want to sell aso ebi.”

According to details shared about the event, guests could purchase the base package at ₦350,000 for four yards, the mid-tier package at ₦700,000 for eight yards, while the premium package cost ₦1 million for 12 yards.

With reports suggesting the wedding hosted more than 500 guests, many social media users quickly calculated the potential revenue generated from aso ebi sales, fuelling conversations about the growing cost of attending Nigerian celebrity weddings.
