“To all Nigerians, please forgive me. I’m very sorry. The cvr$3s you guys are raining on me is too much. I didn’t take money from anyone,” he said.

He defended his earlier comments about insecurity in the country, explaining the context of his remarks and citing a personal connection. “It’s obvious that there’s insecurity and the government isn’t doing anything; what I was trying to say is don’t answer anyone who is saying there’s no insecurity. My best friend’s mother was k1dn&pp3d and we paid ransom; how would I say there’s no insecurity?” he added.

The apology follows widespread online criticism after he publicly declared support for Bola Ahmed Tinubu and said complaints about Nigeria’s hardship did not bother him. In that earlier statement, he argued that he supported Tinubu because of diplomatic achievements and expressed that he “doesn’t really care” about broader economic complaints, a position that drew significant negative reactions online.
