Adeoluwa who spoke with some students recently revealed that the girls said their institutions do not allow them to plait their hair. Many are compelled to maintain short or low-cut hairstyles in compliance with school rules.

Something that may seem small, but genuinely bothers me, is why public schools in Nigeria still ask girls to cut their hair. To what end? What exactly is the point?” Adeoluwa asked, sharing his observations on social media, where the post quickly generated reactions.
