In her words, she said:

“How does someone campaign for re-election using the same promises he campaigned with four years ago? The same promises, the same projection, the same ‘we’re going to fix it.’ Sorry, what happened to the first plan? I’m not attacking anybody, I’m just trying to make you understand something.”

According to her, whenever the issue is raised, supporters quickly respond that four years is not enough to fix a country like Nigeria.

She, however, argued that while four years may not be enough to solve every national problem, it should be enough time to show direction, measurable progress, and a functioning system.
“The people who wrote the constitution understood something simple — four years is not forever, but four years is enough time to see direction. Democracy is not emotional loyalty; it is performance review,” she added.

Her comments quickly divided opinion online. While some Nigerians agreed, others argued that systemic problems sometimes require more than one term to properly address.
