MC Fish’s new partner breaks silence over claims of wrecking his marriage to Anita Joseph

Gbemso, the new partner of MC Fish, has responded to online criticism following the circulation of photos and videos of the couple.

The clips, which went viral hours after being shared, sparked reactions from social media users, with some questioning the timeline of the relationship due to MC Fish’s past marriage to Nollywood actress Anita Joseph.

In a post on his Instagram story, MC Fish stated that society often treats men unfairly in relationship matters. He argued that when a woman moves on and finds love again, she is praised for finding happiness, but when a man does the same, he is often accused of wrongdoing or infidelity.

Addressing the controversy directly, Gbemso denied claims that she was responsible for the breakdown of his marriage.

She maintained that MC Fish was single when they met and that their relationship developed afterward. She added that both of them had previous relationships where they felt unappreciated, but finding each other brought a positive change.

Gbemso also pushed back against accusations labeling MC Fish a “gold digger,” stating that he has been supportive and responsible in their relationship.
