According to her post, the decision to delete her friend’s contact came after she realized that seeing her friend’s WhatsApp status constantly reminded her of the differences in their current lives.

“I deleted my childhood friend’s number today because I didn’t want to see her WhatsApp status anymore. She seems to be doing well for herself, a stable business, a healthy relationship, basically everything. Meanwhile, I’m on the other end, struggling with almost everything in my life. I know I shouldn’t compare, but deep down it keeps coming up.”
