In the trending clip, Omije Ojumi’s son was seen angrily rejecting his father, Rotimi William Adeoye, during the burial ceremony, a moment many viewers described as shocking and uncomfortable.

While some Nigerians sympathised with the children, citing grief and emotional trauma, others criticised the boy’s conduct, saying it was disrespectful and excessive.

Lady Slams Omije Ojumi’s Son Over Emotional Outburst

Reacting via her Facebook page, Hakeemah Folakemi Muhammahed blamed the late singer for what she described as poor upbringing.

She wrote: “I wonder why Bunmi (Omije Ojumi) would train her children to be so aggressive and temperamental.
People are now using her son as sticker
He actually behaved like a mannerless child simply because he wanted to prove that he is not part of his father’s family.
Am I the only one seeing it this way?
I thank God that I have been able to train my children with good character, humility and humbleness.
They can never behave like m@d dog whether outside or even at home.
They are quite reserved.
May her soul rest in peace
