“Let him do it” – Lawyer advises wives on what to do after husbands conduct DNA test on their children

A Nigerian lawyer, Barrister Stella Justice Nnennaya, has sparked massive reactions online after advising married women on what to do if their husbands insist on conducting DNA tests on their children.

Her advice, shared via a Facebook post, has triggered mixed responses from both men and women across social media.

Lawyer Says Women Should Not Block DNA Tests

According to the barrister, women should not oppose their husbands if they request DNA tests as long as they are certain the children are truly theirs.

She explained that resisting such tests may not be necessary and could even work against the woman emotionally and legally.

What to Do After a Positive DNA Result

Barrister Stella advised that the real action should begin after the DNA test confirms the husband as the biological father.

She urged women to immediately seek legal counsel and pursue a civil case against their husbands for lack of trust.

₦100 Million Compensation

In her post, the lawyer stated that women should demand heavy compensation once the DNA test comes back positive, describing such suspicion as damaging to marriage.
