In a video shared by Buchi, the man described sleepless nights, emotional strain, and the pressure of supporting his wife during pregnancy, saying women don’t go through pregnancy journey alone; men also do and shouldn’t be neglected.
Maraji countered, emphasizing that women endure the most, from sickness and hormonal changes to depression. “Why should anyone care about you,” she asked, “when you are supposed to support system to your wife?”

“The man didn’t make unfair comparisons, nor did he invalidate his wife’s journey through pregnancy and childbirth. He is highlighting an important point: men also have feelings too. The fact that he’s not carrying the child doesn’t mean he’s not doing something.”

He also emphasized:
“We need to understand the duality of the human experience, it’s possible for you to do what is rightly your obligation, and it also possible for it to tire you, or make you feel lonely. The constant anxiety, fear of losing a loved one will definitely make you sleepless.”
