A Nigerian bride has shared a heartbreaking experience that unfolded just a day before her wedding, leaving social media users emotional.

According to the lady, her brother and his friends were traveling to her wedding venue when they got involved in a serious accident.

Some victims sustained injuries and are still recovering, while others who escaped unhurt reportedly returned home angry.

The incident, shared by the bride on TikTok under the handle @julietblessing89, did not stop her from proceeding with the wedding ceremony.

In a tearful video, she described the ordeal and how her parents’ strong faith in God helped her stay strong amid the crisis.

Family and Village Support Amid Tragedy

Speaking in the video, the bride noted that her “village people” seemed intent on sabotaging her wedding, but her family had prepared to handle all challenges.

She expressed gratitude that everyone involved in the accident survived, describing it as a testament to God’s goodness.

She said:

“A day before my wedding, my brother and his friends coming to the east for my marriage had an accident. Some haven’t recovered till today. Those that weren’t injured went back angrily. My village people were alert, but we went prepared. The God my parent serves doesn’t sleep, and I saw it. Nobody died. That alone is a testimony that our God is good.”

TikTok users flooded the comments section with words of encouragement and prayers for the bride and her family, praising her resilience in the face of adversity.
