In a recent interview, the 43-year-old revealed that their bond began as a deep friendship, which naturally evolved into a seamless partnership both at home and in business.
“We always just do things together. Once you enjoy each other’s company and admire each other, it flows,” Darey said, recalling how Deola once set up his social media accounts when he was still an artiste.

“We just cross-pollinated. I learn a lot from her, and she picked up a lot from me, especially on the entertainment side,” he noted.

Darey emphasised that their success didn’t come overnight but was built on mutual respect, adaptability, and a willingness to learn from each other.
“It is not like you are going to have it all figured out off the bat. Once you have that willingness, cooperation, and understanding, you can cover each other’s weaknesses and play to each other’s strengths,” he said.
