Controversial Nigerian street singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has mocked the death of former President Muhammadu Buhari.
This came following the demise of the politician who passed away in the United Kingdom following an illness that had him admitted.

In a video circulating on social media, Portable made scathing remarks, accusing Buhari of being responsible for the 2020 Lekki Toll Gate shooting during the #EndSARS protests, in which security forces reportedly opened fire on peaceful demonstrators.

“The man that said they should shoot our people at the Lekki Still Gate is dead. Let us do good. May he die again in Heaven. He was the one that ordered the shooting, not Tinubu. He died in London,” Portable said in the video.

Captioning the video, he added, “Do Good because of tomorrow…..”
The controversial artist, known for his erratic behaviour and unfiltered commentary, used the moment to urge Nigerians to live righteously, stating that the consequences of one’s actions do not end with death.

The Lekki Toll Gate incident remains a sore point in Nigeria’s recent history, with many young Nigerians still seeking justice for the lives lost and those injured during the protest.
