Shaun, one of the BBNaija housemates, has confessed that he purposefully kept his distance from his duo, Victoria, both before and after joining the show.

He said that they had unresolved issues before going to the house, so he wanted to give her space.

Shaun revealed that being with Wanni, his romantic interest in the house, lifted his spirits owing to her uplifting nature.

He also claimed Victoria withdrew inside herself, making it impossible to navigate and interact with the other housemates.

“I struggled in the first week with my duo, we kinda had a problem before coming into the house, I came in wanting to have a space away from her a little, so when I was with Wanni, she lifted my spirit and Victoria went into her shell” , he reported.

Shaun also stated that the Victoria he is seeing in the house is not the same lady he knew before entering the show.

In other news, Big Brother Naija Season 9 contestant Shaun has told his partner Victoria that he cannot accept responsibility for her lack of communication.

Victoria has reportedly been laid back since the beginning of the show, which has had an impact on her relationship with her partner and other housemates.

During Sunday’s live broadcast, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the host, asked Victoria, “Do you think it’s weird that your relationship with your partner, Shaun, is off?”

She responded: “I don’t think so. He has his friends, and I don’t want to come in between.”

Following Ebuka’s query to Victoria during the live show, the Shatoria duo had a talk afterwards.

Shaun told Victoria that dealing with her is difficult because she doesn’t communicate.

“I can’t force you to talk; I can’t force you to communicate with other people; I can’t force you to call me when you have any issues. I came to this world by myself, so I can’t do that,” he said.
