Pete Edochie, a veteran actor, receives two honorary doctorates from an international university at the age of 76.

On Saturday, the Nollywood actor was honoured by ISTM University, Togo, with a lifetime achievement award, a doctorate in literature, and a doctorate in the arts.

According to a video that just leaked online, representatives from the international institution visited the actor at home and gave him the prizes in celebration of his significant contributions to the creative industry.

“For all the works he has been doing, and he has been the pioneer in everything that all the younger ones are copying,” one of the representative said.
