Prominent Nollywood actor Kanayo O. Kanayo has elicited various responses in response to his heartfelt prayers for his son as he gets ready to travel to America.
Kanayo was happy for his son, who had been accepted to a university in the United States of America, and he prayed for him.

Kanayo can be seen praying for his son’s safety in a video posted on his Instagram page. He especially asked for his son to keep his identity and orientation as a “He” in the face of social pressures as one of his prayer requests.
Kanayo pushed him to focus on academic achievements rather than tattoos, among other things, and to follow the virtues instilled in him throughout his younger years.

Sharing the video, he wrote;
“America will be proud of you. Your achievements will cause America to celebrate you. You will imbibe the good of the land and eat the good therefore. You will continue to be a HE from Ezinihitte Mbaise in Nigeria. Your focus shall be on your books and job NOT ON TATTOOS. May you never depart from your upbringing. Do not forget God. You shall ever remain on God’s Radar and GPS. Good luck boy.”
