A man has allegedly been detained in Kirikiri prison, Lagos state under suspicion of being responsible for his girlfriend’s death.
She had traveled to visit him in Lagos, but when she was going back to her place of residence, she fainted at the park.

After being revived, she gave out her boyfriend’s number and they contacted him. He quickly went to pick her and took her to his place, unfortunately, she died the next day.

He reported the situation to the police but he was subsequently arrested and transferred to Kirikiri prison.
