The security officers who became internet sweethearts after a video of them dancing at work, have reacted to a statement released by their former employer, Chicken Republic which stated that they were not sacked.

Recall that in a statement released days ago, the fast-food establishment said that the two young men were only sent for retraining, and the news of their sack was false.

The two known as Happie Boys online, have taken to their Instagram page to dismiss the statement as untrue, as they insisted that they were fired.

According to them, they kept visiting the establishment for seven days to demand their salary after being sack, and they only received the pay after their story went viral.
