A Nigerian Twitter user has asserted that a woman surprising a man with a gift increases her chances of getting a marriage proposal from him.

According to the tweep identified as @iwilsononny, whenever a man gets an unexpected gift from a woman, he begins to consider getting married to her.

He sparked a debate with his post which reads; ”Once a man gets an unexpected gift from a woman, he starts calculating his next move, whether to propose or to marry.”
