The sad truth about relationships is that they are rarely ever perfect. A lot of relationships won’t ever have the privilege of seeing itself go all the way because human beings are inherently imperfect, and their imperfections play into the dynamics of the relationship as a whole.

There are lots of cases wherein people fall in and out of love with each other throughout the course of a relationship. What people have to understand is that so many conditions and variables have to be perfect in order for a relationship to have a fighting chance. Love alone isn’t enough to sustain a relationship. It takes a lot of commitment, hard work, time, effort, and heaps of good luck.

1. Look for clues.

When you really care for someone, it can be easy ignore the signals that they do not feel the same way. The longer you ignore these, however, the longer you will draw out your rejection and heartache.

2. She No Longer Finds Him Attractive

When a woman is in love, she finds her man super attractive and charming. However, the same cannot be said when she stops loving him; no matter how good-looking he is, she wouldn’t find him attractive once she has lost that desire for him.

3. She No Longer Puts In Efforts

A woman in love would put in all efforts for her man and the relationship, but when this isn’t the case, she wouldn’t care about the relationship anymore, so she wouldn’t put efforts to make the relationship better or show her man that she cares.

It’s been said that when a woman enters into a serious relationship, she loses 1-2 friends. Why? Because there is only so much time a person can give. Friendship requires quality and quantity time together. Women (and men) need good relationships outside of dating or marriage, but those relationships must come second to the one they love. When a woman continually chooses her friends over you, it’s a sign she doesn’t love you.

Men do not operate well when they are caught between their mom and their significant other. Men want both women happy. While not every mother or family deserves total respect, a woman in love will honor your mom just for being your mom. She might disagree with your mother’s decisions or not appreciate aspects of her personality, but she will do her best to honor the woman you call mom. She will also honor your family. Within proper boundaries, she will do her part because of her love for you. If a woman won’t honor your family, she probably won’t honor you.

Loving a girl who doesn’t love you is tough, but it’s not uncommon. This scenario has fueled much of the great art in the world. Unfortunately, if someone does not love you, you won’t be able to change their mind. Your only course of action is to accept the truth, sever your ties with her (at least for a while), and focus on healing.
