Nigerian content creator Aloma Isaac Junior, popularly known as Zic Saloma, has responded to harsh comments made about a video featuring his elderly mother, who is currently battling cancer.

In the video, which gained attention online, Zic revealed that his mother who is over 70 years old had expressed interest in attending the premiere of his upcoming movie. Although he was initially unsure if her health would allow it, he shared that she had shown signs of improvement after chemotherapy.

Despite the touching nature of the clip, it drew a wave of insensitive remarks from some social media users. While a few mocked Zic’s appearance by saying he inherited his nose from his mother, others cruelly labeled the elderly woman “ugly.”
