Nigerian fashion designer and entrepreneur, Veekee James, has penned a heartwarming message to her husband Femi Atere, in honour of their first wedding anniversay.

Veekee, who shared stunning pictures of herself and husband, described him as life’s best gift to her.

She promised to love and cherish Mr Femi Atere for as long as God permits her.

In her words,

“1 year ago on this day, we stood before God and swore our commitment to each other.

1 year later, we have not just upheld each other’s side of these vows, we have done it with so much grace and devotion.

You, Ayomi, are life’s best gift to me and I will love and cherish you for as long as God allows me.

Happy Anniversary baby, let’s go get ready to party.

The couple got married in a vintage themed wedding ceremony in Lagos, amidst lots of fanfare.
