However, the news sparked mixed reactions. A fan of rival artist Davido, known as @DavidoPolice on X (formerly Twitter), dismissed the acquisition with a snarky comment: “The God who did it for Wizkid should avoid me.”

The comment drew the attention of Ola of Lagos, a renowned real estate promoter, who responded by defending the properties’ immense value. Ola criticized the undue pressure fans often place on celebrities, calling for a more balanced perspective.
