The late Mohbad’s body has not yet been exhumed for an autopsy or other purposes, according to the Lagos State Police Command.
The state command is awaiting the completion of documentation with the state Ministry of Health, according to a police source who spoke with Linda Ikeji’s Blog (LIB) on Tuesday, September 19. This paperwork will be required as part of the investigation process.
The insider also revealed that Mohbad’s body would be exhumed for an autopsy on Wednesday, September 20, or at the latest on Thursday, September 21.
On September 12, Mohbad passed away under questionable circumstances. The following day, September 12, he was buried.
In response to the shocking allegations that he had been harassed and abused while he was still alive, Nigerians have requested that an autopsy be conducted.
On Monday, September 19, the Lagos State Police Command established a 13-person team to conduct a thorough inquiry into the circumstances surrounding his passing.
In two weeks, the committee is anticipated to submit its report.
