The security officers who became internet sweethearts after a video of them dancing at work, have reacted to a statement released by their former employer, Chicken Republic which stated that they were not sacked.
Recall that in a statement released days ago, the fast-food establishment said that the two young men were only sent for retraining, and the news of their sack was false.
The two known as Happie Boys online, have taken to their Instagram page to dismiss the statement as untrue, as they insisted that they were fired.
According to them, they kept visiting the establishment for seven days to demand their salary after being sack, and they only received the pay after their story went viral.
Happie Boys wrote; ”Good morning Nigerians, we are here to address a publication by @chickenrepublic that went viral few days ago,
Against what they published, we wantu make it know that
*We were fired!
*Nobody is in close communication with us
*We were not offered any retaining
*We only received our salaries days after the video went viral and the company received a lot of backslashing online.
We respect every business and cooperate body involved in this but please we dont want the wrong information circulating.
Thank you.”
