VeryDarkMan calls out Blord for selling refurbished iPhone XR as iPhone 17 Pro to Nigerians

Popular social media activist VeryDarkMan (VDM), has called out businessman and crypto investor Blord for allegedly trying to scam Nigerians by selling a refurbished iPhone XR as the newly released iPhone 17 Pro.

‘Upgraded’ iPhone XR Claimed as iPhone 17 Pro

The controversy began after Blord posted a video on Instagram unboxing what he called an “upgraded” iPhone XR, claiming it had been transformed to resemble the iPhone 17 Pro.

He reportedly reached out to an associate in China to perform the modification, showcasing similar icons, casing, and interface as the newly released model.

Price Claims and Accusations

Blord announced that he had two units available, each priced at ₦400,000. However, VDM criticized the businessman for allegedly inflating the price and misleading Nigerians.

VDM stated:

“Blord, I think you forgot that I am in China. Why do you want to extort Nigerians? All in the name of business, you want to make so much profit.”

VDM further revealed that the so-called “iPhone 17 Pro” was actually an upgraded iPhone XR, which could be purchased for around ₦280,000 in China, including shipping and delivery costs to Nigeria.

Nigerians this phone that BLORD is selling for 450,000 naira is actually 280’000 plus shipping and delivery in any part of Nigeria,” he added.
